Note: it is good practice to install a UV stabilized PVC ball valve between the inlet and the live-well pump. Many boats have flooded when the live-well pump has been broken off or cracked due to age or UV degradation. Place the PVC ball valve immediately inside the hull and ensure it is easily accessible.
