AISI 316 Twist Shackles

These Proceans Twist shackles are made from AISI 316 marine grade stainless. They are high strength and polished to a mirror finish.

The tensile strength of a material is the maximum amount of tensile stress (pull) that it can take before failure measured in Kilonewtons (kN) or kilograms-force (Kg). BL or Breaking Load is a similar measurement.

6mm shackle - maximum tensile force = 16.8kN or 1,713Kg

8mm shackle - maximum tensile force = 29.3kN or 2,987Kg

10mm shackle  - maximum tensile force = 57.5kN or 5,863Kg

12mm shackle - maximum tensile force = 68.9kN or 7,025Kg
