AISI 316 Wide D Shackles

These Wide D shackles are made from AISI 316 marine grade stainless. They are high strength and polished to a mirror finish.

The tensile strength of a material is the maximum amount of tensile stress (pull) that it can take before failure measured in Kilonewtons (kN) or kilograms-force (Kg). BL or Breaking Load is a similar measurement.

8mm wide D shackle - maximum tensile force = 7.21kN or 1,350Kg

10mm wide D shackle  - maximum tensile force = 24.5kN or 2,500Kg

12mm wide D shackle - maximum tensile force = 39.2kN or 4,000Kg
