Do you ever retrieve your anchor the wrong way round when using an electric windlass?
The solution:
1. Use an anchor connector or swivel
2. Stop retrieving the anchor approximately 1 to 2 meters below the waterline.
3. Place engines in astern for about 30 seconds then back into neutral.
4, Continue retrieving your anchor and it will sit perfectly in your bow roller.
